ABOUT THE PROJECT
Gender inequality, defined as discrimination based on gender, remains a significant issue in the 21st century. Despite numerous efforts, the UN Report on Sustainable Development Goals indicates that gender inequality has widened, particularly affecting women and girls,
especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic. In response, the European Commission adopted a Gender Equality Strategy in March 2020,
recognizing gender equality as a core EU value and setting goals for a gender-equal Europe.
On the first day, we will cover project management, participant needs, project description, selection, and partner cooperation. The afternoon will focus on logistics like the venue, dates, and participant numbers.
The second day will discuss activities, outcomes, impacts, dissemination, evaluation, and sustainable practices, including a sample activity demonstration. This APV will set the foundation for a successful project to tackle gender inequality, aligning with the EU's Gender Equality Strategy.
Our Advance Planning Visit (APV) aims to address gender inequality through our project. We will bring together one group leader and one participant from each partner organization, totaling 18 participants. Group leaders, who will join the project mobility week, are essential for team selection and planning.
We welcome participants new to Erasmus+ projects, providing them with valuable experience. Experienced group leaders and partners will offer guidance.
